Footnotes
GRAY BEAST bumped with an inner rival at the start, pressed three deep while kept in the four path, then four wide and between horses at the nine sixteenths pole, chased in the three path into the far turn, progressed in the four path into the lane to offer a bid in upper stretch, led into the final furlong and held from an outer challenger late. MARCAN LOVE broke a beat slow, trailed in the three path, advanced in the four to five path turning for home, sustained progress to bid outside of the new leader in the final furlong but was fended off. GIGLINE was bumped between horses at the start, put to tight quarters among foes shortly after, tracked along the inside, split the leaders to issue an early challenge two wide with nine sixteenths to go, led in the two path as an outer prompter sustained pressure around the far turn, but got caught by a wider challenger reaching midstretch, gave way yet held show. MIKI JAK broke half a beat slow, raced off of the pace in the two to three path then moved up late. POWER WRENCH tracked the leading trio from the five path, pressed five deep at the nine sixteenths pole, sustained pressure outside of the leader after tucking to the three path into the far turn, but gave way while getting outkicked by an outer bidder entering the lane. JEFFERSONIAN bumped with an outer rival leaving the gate, brushed with an inner foe shortly after, prompted the leader from the three path and between horses, then three wide after allowing room for an inner bidder at the nine sixteenths pole, yielded between foes into the far turn, chased in the two path around that bend, moved to the four path in upper stretch and lacked a re-bid. LUCKCREST brushed an outer foe soon after the start, led narrowly inside of a pair of prompters early on, vied inside of a quartet of rival at the nine sixteenths pole then weakened with three furlongs to go.
