THREE PERCENT chased the top two from the inside and came out into the three path into the upper and made a strong rally and drew clear to prove best. MORTAL LOCK tracked the pace early on and was coaxed entering the second turn briefly dueled with the leader but was passed by another rival and proved to be a clear second best. PACIFIC STANDARD was slammed leaving the gate and raced wide on the backstretch, came about four wide along the turn and finished mildly. RUNAWAY ROCKET rushed up quickly after the break and set a clear pace from the inside but was outfinished. POSITIVE ENERGY broke through the gate before the race, settled back along the inside and swung out into the upper stretch to the four path but needed more. DOC BOVIE was settled mid-pack early on in the two path and came between rivals on the first turn but faltered entering the stretch. JOBU broke out slightly and was unhurried early on settling near the back of the pack, raced about three wide and came further out into the stretch to about the five path but was no factor. FLAMEFIRE was settled back early and came into the two path along the turn but made no bid. HAPPY MOMENTS was bumped on both sides at the break and settled mid-pack, came three wide on the turn and faded in the homestretch.
