SARASOTA HONEY veered in leaving the gate, led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and drew off in the stretch. STATE CHARMER tracked the leader between horses through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path and chased on to the wire. RUNTOWN was bumped soundly by an inside horse just out of the gate, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and improved position from there. BLACK FLY chased the leader on the inside early, saved ground around the turn and weakened in the lane. CAJUN HOTTIE chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and faded in the stretch. CHOOSE YOUR WORDS veered out leaving the gate, recovered to stalk the leader on the outside through the opening stages, came around the bend in the three path and tired in the lane. HURRICANE SEASON bolted out sharply at the start, bumping with an outside horse in the process, trailed well behind the field throughout, saved ground around the bend and was never a factor.
