ROSCOMMON hopped up leaving the gate, saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the second bend and kicked clear in the lane. MYSTIC ISLE raced in the two path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, swung out to the five path to began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late from there. TUSCAN THUNDER chased the leader on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the second bend and kept on to the wire. POWER WRENCH raced in the three path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the three path around the second bend and into the lane and was outkicked in the final furlong. GOLD RULES raced in the two path early, stalked the pace setter between horses for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and weakened in the lane. GIULIO CESARE saved ground around the first bend, dueled on the inside up the backstretch and around the second turn and faded in the stretch. THE BLUE WAVE raced in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the four path and made no bid. GIGLINE raced in the three path around the first turn, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the second turn in the four path and tired in the lane. GLEAMING checked leaving the chute and came two wide into the first but was distanced and trailed the rest of the race.
