ALLONS led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and held clear to the wire. STAR OF SATURN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, saved ground around the bend and improved position in the stretch. THEE NEW BEGINNING chased the leader through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the two path and kept on in the lane. D' TIGER LILY raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the turn and was outkicked in the stretch. MT. D'ORO raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and was empty in the lane. FAIRHOPECURLY was pinched back leaving the start, settled in the middle of the pack between horses, came around the bend in the three path and faded in the stretch. BAYOU MELODY raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and made no bid.
