SECRET TREASURE raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path, began a bid entering the stretch and kicked clear in the lane. HOMER JONES tracked the leader on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and kept on to the wire. BANG A RANG raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and improved position from there. REBEL EMPIRE dueled on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and gave way in the lane. MITHRIDATES dueled on the outside through the early going, navigated the bend from the three path and weakened in the stretch. LITIGANT chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and faded from there. STITZY trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor.
