CREED'S VISION pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, took over the lead while racing in the three path around the turn and dug in gamely in the lane to hold clear to the wire. PACIFIC STANDARD raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the bend and improved position steadily to the finish. AMERICAN DIRECTION chased the leaders through the opening quarter, came around the bend in the two path and kept on in the stretch. RICKIE'S KIN brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to lead the way from the rail up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and weakened in the lane. ST. EMILION trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and made no bid. NEOTERIC brushed with the horse to outside at the start, raced off the pace on the rail through the early going, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the stretch. THUNDER ROLL raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and faded in the lane.
