RED ELEANOR saved ground early on mid-pack and advanced nearing the bottom of the turn taking aim at the lead, then took command nearing the upper while shifting out to be four wide and drew clear to prove best. STAR OF SATURN shifted out early on the backstretch and came on the turn six wide and swung out further to be widest in the upper and made a solid effort but was no match for the winner. CALENDULA stalked the pace early on from the inside and shifted out on the turn to be four wide, then swung out about ten wide into the upper but flattened out. WOODS HOLE was settled back early and came four wide on the turn and shifted to the inside nearing the bottom of the turn and finished mildly. SMOOTH CLARET was bumped and brushed at the start and set the pace early from the two path, then swung eight wide into the upper and weakened. COMMANDERS PALACE was bumped and brushed at the start and settled mid-pack in the five path but made no bid. LADYS CHANT settled mid-pack in the two path and came three wide into the upper but was no factor.
