ROUKI stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid leaving the turn to go on even terms by the furlong marker, kicked clear by the sixteenth marker and then held sway late to prove best under a drive. HORSEPOWER chased the early pace on the inside, advanced on the inside and steadied slightly while boxed and had to wait for room by the quarter pole, tipped out three wide for aim and finished well to be gaining on the winner and holding off a rival for the place award. ISIVUNGUVUNGU (SAF) was rated early on the outside, three to four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and closed well late, missed place award. REEF RUNNER was bumped at the break and reserved early two path, eased out on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally to gain the last spot in the superfecta. OUR SHOT was rated along between rivals early, 2-3p turn, came four wide into the lane and had no punch in the lane. SOUPER QUEST set a pressured pace on the inside and then dueled for command off the bend and faded in the final furlong. SMITHWICK'S SPICE was settled early, four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane and had no rally. AMERICAN MONARCH was settled early, two wide on the turn and lacked a rally. THEALLIGATORHUNTER pressed the pace two wide and came three wide into the lane and weakened. GOING UP was crowded at the break and settled back on the inside and saved ground on the turn and never threatened.
