Footnotes
GREAT VENEZUELA was allowed to settle early, flour wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane, closed full of run to be going away late to prove best under a drive. TALKIN TIPSY set the early pace in the two path, dropped to the inside on the turn while clear, dug in by the furlong marker and could not go with the winner late while holding on to the place award. BAHAMIAN MOON stalked the early pace three to four wide, then moved in to the rail nearing the quarter pole, cut the corner leaving the turn and got thru leaving the furlong marker but needed more late while saving the show award. VISBY was off a step slow, reserved early, advanced four to five wide on the turn, tipped out six wide in the lane and finished well to just miss the show award. BEAUTY OF THE SEA was bumped at the break, stalked the early pace on the outside, four to three wide on the turn and came four wide off the bend but had no late kick. SOL HOPE tracked the pace from the inside and checked by the three eighths marker, then recovered and started to make another run on the inside but steadied nearing the quarter pole and had no rally, rough trip. ADMIRAL HOPPER rushed up in between rivals and was in tight by the three and a half furlong marker, then dropped to the inside and two wide on the turn, came two wide off the bend but faded in the final furlong. MUSICAL DESIGN was reserved early, three to four wide on the turn and had no rally. BUNNY HOP was settled back early and saved ground on the turn and lacked a rally. SARA MIA was settled back early, cut the corner leaving the turn and was not a threat. RISK THRESHOLD (IRE) bumped a rival at the break, prompted the pace three to two wide on the turn and weakened in the drive.
