Footnotes
CAN'T JUMP broke outwardly a bit at the start then was urged to the front and clear, set the pace from just off the fence shadowed by outside foes, shook free of pursuers leaving the far turn then was asked for more at the top of the stretch and responded to kick away quickly through upper stretch, held sway under hand urging late. ICONIC ROCK got away well and under a little encouragement moved forward and perched outside and just off the eventual winner stalking that one three to four wide, was encouraged along to keep pace coming to the five-sixteenths, was no match for the top one but clearly second best. ETERNAL GLORY exchanged repeated light bumps at the start, was in a bit tight past the seven-eighths on the first turn, moved up chasing about three to four wide just off the leaders up the backstretch, continued about three deep on the far turn and needed more late. BIVOL broke inwardly, was outpaced early and unhurriedly raced well back tucking in on the first turn, settled up the backstretch, moved out swinging five wide turning for home, came in then out in upper stretch and ran on to improve. CLASS OF SIXTY TWO chased inside throughout and was in a bit tight briefly on the first turn then again past the quarter pole, ran on evenly but failed to threaten. ADMIRAL CURL exchanged repeated light bumps at the start, was caught outside foes toward the rear early, was mostly three to five wide and never near enough to threaten. WESTDAKOTA bumped a rival at the start and then a bit harder just after, moved forward outside chasing the leaders four to five deep, advanced mildly under encouragement from the three-eighths but faded in the stretch. STARSHIP AUGUSTO switched out off the rail early on the first turn, tracked near mid-pack in behind from off the fence, lacked the needed response. LYLA'S LUCKY BOY was bumped at the start and quite hard just after, moved forward between foes leaving the first turn and early up the backstretch chasing in behind the leaders and off the rail about mid-pack, faded from the seven-sixteenths. VITTORIANO failed to menace while racing just off the inside part of the track.
