THEE NEW BEGINNING led the way on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and held clear to the finish. MIGUEL'S BELLE stalked the pace setter on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the four path and chased on in the lane. BAND SWEETHEART raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, continued around the turn in the two path and improved position in the stretch. HOLY COFFEE tracked the leader between horses up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and faded in the stretch. BAYOU MELODY raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and showed no kick. FAIRHOPECURLY raced off the pace up the backstretch, began a mild bid coming around the turn, entered the stretch in the five path and flattened out from there. NO ACTION trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
