LA GATA SALVAJE chased the pace three to two wide, split rivals nearing the five sixteenths and moved in to the inside to be well placed by the quarter pole, tipped out three wide leaving the turn and made a bid to edged clear late to prove best under a drive. TAP BONNET pressed the pace two wide and made a bid to shake clear on the far turn and dug in leaving the furlong marker but could not hold off the winner while clearly second best. MY FINE AQUILINE was settled on the outside early, continued to have a wide pursuit down the backstrtetch, five wide entering the far turn and made a four wide bid leaving the five sixteenths but flattened out in the lane, kept on for the show award. ANNA JEAN was settled on the inside, checked nearing the five sixteenths and moved out to be three wide nearing the quarter pole, swung out seven wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally. SNOW IS FLYING chased the early pace from the inside, was in the two path entering the far turn and then was shut off and had to check nearing the five sixteenths and then moved to the inside and had no late rally. POWER PARTY chased the pace four wide and tired. GOGO BOOTS stalked the pace three wide and then was in between rivals by the half mile marker and tired. SO MUCH JAZZ set a pressured pace on the inside and gave way on the far turn. JOCKEYS OBJECTION number two SNOW IS FLYING against the number four LA GATA SALVAJE for alleged interference around the three eights marker to the five sixteenths, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays they disallowed the OBJECTION and left the race as is.
