Footnotes
CHARLIE'S BEAUTY pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and drew off in the lane. OPPOSITE THE CROWD stalked the leader on outside early, navigated the turn from the three path and could not go with the winner in the stretch but chased on to the wire. MT. D'ORO chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the four path and kept on in the lane. CAPTURED DARLING dueled on the outside through the opening quarter, continued to battle from the two path around the turn and faded in the stretch. SHOOPTHEREITIS tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired in the lane. LA GATA SALVAJE tracked the leader between horses through the opening stages, dropped back while racing in the two path around the bend and continued to tire from there.
