BIT OF FROST raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the final furlong. MAGGIES BREW led the way on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and chased on to the finish. CON CAUTELA tracked the leader on the inside early, saved ground around the turn and kept on in the lane. GALLANT RUNNER drifted in early to settle in the middle of the pack between horses, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and was outkicked in the stretch. ALWAYS PRAISING raced off the pace up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and made no bid. LUCKY LIL KISS raced into traffic and was forced to check coming out of the chute, trailed the field up what remained of the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and showed no kick. LA REINA DEL FLOW raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the two path and was empty in the lane. THE RIDER OF HORSE FIVE, LUCKY LIL KISS, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SEVEN, GALLANT RUNNER, CITING INTERFERENCE LEAVING THE CHUTE. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE SAME INCIDENT. UPON REVIEW, HORSE SEVEN, GALLANT RUNNER, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED LAST FOR INTERFERENCE.
