Footnotes
MR. PEEKS led the way up backstretch and into the turn, swung wide coming off the bend, entering the stretch in the five path and held clear to the wire. BIG LOUIE chased the leader up the backstretch, was fanned out to the six path coming around the bend and kept on in the lane. GALLO DE FUEGO bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening stages, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and made up some mild ground in the stretch. DEVELOP PRODUCT bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, raced off the pace up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the five path and never threatened. TAKE THE GOLD tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and was outkicked in the lane. SEBASTIANTHE FIRST raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and made no bid. ZAPATA (IRE) raced in the middle of the pack between horses early, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and tired further in the stretch.
