SILVER SLUGGER brushed with the horses to his outside at the start, recovered to lead the way between rivals up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and drew off in the lane. ALARIK (CHI) tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and kept on in the stretch but was no match for the winner. SECRET EMPIRE brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to stalk the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, navigated the turn from the three path and was no match in the stretch but chased on to the wire. EL CHISPAZO raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the four path and finished evenly. HOLY STICK (CHI) brushed with the horses to both sides at the break, raced off the pace early, continued around the bend in the four path and passed tiring horses in the lane while never threatening. GOTTS GOT IT raced in the middle of the pack between horses up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the bend and was outkicked in the lane. OLD TOWN ROAD brushed with the horses to either side leaving the gate, raced at the back of the pack through the early going, saved ground around the turn and showed no kick. CURLIN GUNNER was pinched back a the start, trailed the field up the backstretch, came around the turn in the five path and made no bid. GOWOKEGOBROKE raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and faded in the stretch.
