CHINGU dueled early on from the inside for the pace and shifted out exiting the first turn to be in the two path, then swung out five wide into the upper and lugged out a bit while drawing clear from the rest to prove best. THIS BEAU KNOWS came in slightly at the start and tracked the top two from the inside, then swung out about seven wide into the upper while making a bid but was no match for the winner while being second best. D REMBRANDT tracked the top two from the two path and swung out widest passing the quarter pole but just needed more deep in the stretch. TIMSHEL stumbled at the break and trailed the field in the early stages, then shifted out three wide in the turn and further to be six wide in the upper while making a rally and improved late. ROYAL MERIT dueled for the pace early from the two path and assumed a brief lead and shifted to the inside along the backstretch, then came out four wide into the upper but weakened. MY REMBRANDT settled mid-pack in the two path and came eight wide into the upper then tipped out further but flattened deep in the stretch. ANDERMAN was bumped at the start and pinched back mid-way through the chute and checked, then saved ground on the inside and came two wide on the turn and five wide through the upper but made no bid. RAY OF LOV came in after the break and bumped with a rival then settled between foes for most the race, then came three wide into the upper but made no rally. LOBBYIST was bumped at the start and mid-way through the chute, then settled towards the back of the pack and was no factor. EL CAPRICHOSO was off slow and came three wide through the first turn before settling in the four path, then swung out eight wide into the upper and angled in late but was no menace.
