MAJESTIC LUCIA raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid while saving ground around the far turn and dueled to the wire to get up for the win. CHATELOT raced in the three path around the first bend, chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and dueled to the wire to just miss. PERMIAN BASIN raced in the three path early, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, continued around the far turn still in the three path and improved position in the lane. CAURA raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the four path and made up some mild ground in the stretch. WICKEDTHISWAYCOMES raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the second bend and continued to tire from there. COURAGEOUS DIANE saved ground off the pace through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the two path and made no bid.
