MOVE JESSE MOVE saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path, dueled to the wire and got up for the win late. BALL OF FIRE raced in the two path early, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the two path, raced into traffic and was forced to switch to the outside near the eighth pole and gained ground steadily from there. A MILLION DREAMS bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, led the way while saving ground through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn, dueled in the stretch and was caught late. MAX CAPACITY bumped with the horses to both sides leaving the gate, raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and showed no kick. SMOLS bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, raced in the three path around the first bend, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, came around the second turn in the two path and showed no kick. BATTALION LEADER raced in the four path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path and was empty in the lane. MORAL POWER raced in the two path early, trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the second turn and was never a factor. THE RIDER OF HORSE FIVE, BALL OF FIRE, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FOUR, MOVE JESSE MOVE, CITING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE EIGHTH POLE. NO CHANGES WERE MADE.
