TIGRE set a clear pace from the inside and was pressured coming around the turn then drew clear again down the stretch to prove best. PERSISTEN chased the pace from the inside and shifted out to the three path around the turn and bid for the lead, then came out about six wide into the upper but was no match for the winner while being second best. THAT SUN OF A GUN settled mid-pack near the front in the two path and swung out five wide into the upper but just needed kick. BOY O' BOY was settled along the inside in the middle of the pack and came out three to four wide in the upper and angled out while making a late bid and improved slightly. MAGIC HEART was settled along the inside towards the back and came four wide on the turn and mildly improved in the stretch. SHERMAN FURY was bumped at the start and settled in the two path, advanced towards the front coming around the turn while being five wide and continued out to the eight path into the upper but weakened. FERAL'S JOY was bumped at the start and settled near the back in the two path between rivals early on, then came out slightly on the turn and tipped out seven wide into the upper but had no bid. DIAL HIM UP was off slowly and bumped at the start and raced on at the back widest but was no factor. MIDNIGHT TEQUILA was bumped at the start and settled off the pace in the three path, then came six wide around the turn and was no menace.
