FAST TOWN was sent to the lead at the start, led under pressure from MOR SPRING SPIRIT, drew clear of the field in the upper stretch, geared down in the final sixteenth. TEMECULA tracked the pace five wide, angled in to the two path in the upper stretch, got up for the place award but was no match for the winner. KING GERALD was forwardly placed between runners, was cued five wide rounding the far turn, got up for the show award. PACIFIC STANDARD broke a step slow, trailed in the early stages, cued along the outside of the turn, picked off a couple more foes in the stretch but was out-finished for any minor awards. P FOUR chased the pace a few lengths back, attempted an inside bid in the upper stretch but came up empty, weakened in the final furlong. BATTLE WARRIOR settled off the pace, trailed through the turn, improved position along the inside of the stretch. MOR SPRING SPIRIT pressed the pace from the two path, retreated down the stretch. MI DINERO raced off the pace, never threatened. TROOPS settled off the pace, trailed briefly in the upper stretch, made no impact. GOWOKEGOBROKE raced in the middle of the pack in the early stages, failed to menace.
