Footnotes
CALZONE was off slowly, raced off the early pace, moved up three wide near the quarter pole, dug in between rivals late and got up under strong handlling. MIDNIGHT ONYX raced five wide around the first turn, stalked the pace from the outside of rivals, dug in three wide late and missed in a game effort. SHIPWRECK settled off the early pace, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. SAN ANDRES set a pressured early pace along the inside and weakened a bit the final eighth of a mile. SHEMIGHTDANCESALSA raced four wide around the first turn, raced near the inside past the quarter pole and was even with no late run. MAGIC HOOH was off slowly, lag early on, four deep into the upper stretch and never threatened. DUKE OF DOOLY tracked the pace three wide and faded. DR SCHUSTER prompt the early leader two deep and tired readily.
