SUMMER'S COMIN showed good speed, met a bid from IT'S GOODTOBE JOSE in the upper stretch, fought hard down the lane to sustain the lead. IT'S GOODTOBE JOSE tracked the pace in the four path, was roused through the far turn and rubbed shoulders with FACTORBELLA entering the top of the stretch, pressed the leader down the stretch but was bested. FACTORBELLA shadowed the pace in the early stages, was cued three wide rounding the turn and rubbed shoulders with IT'S GOODTOBE JOSE, had no closing bid. GRIDLOCK split foes in the early stages for an inside position through the turn, entered the stretch in a competitive position but flattened out late. RETIRED KATHY was rated along the inside, lacked a response, weakened in the stretch. TOUR QUEEN trailed throughout, never factored.
