LONG GONE SALLY was off slowly, stalked between rivals, chased AWESOME PIC on the turn, rallied outside, then lost ground to the leader, re rallied nearing the sixteenth marker, led late and prevailed. MI AMORE tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, moved up on the rail in upper stretch, made a late bid in the two path and got second. AWESOME PIC set the pace racing with a clear lead, responded when roused, widened in upper stretch, dug in gamely on the rail past midstretch, then weakened late and was caught. EASY COME EASY GO stalked four wide, then three wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and closed belatedly outside. CLASSIC BALLAD raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and had no rally. ASK THE MONARCH stalked three wide, chased three wide on the turn and weakened. ARIANA VALENTINA trailed, raced two wide on the turn and failed to threaten. SOUNDTRACK raced off the pace inside and did not factor.
