ROMANTIC STORY raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, dueled in the stretch, bumping with PRINCESS GLADYS at the eighth pole and edged clear. PRINCESS GLADYS saved ground around the first bend, led the way up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path, dueled in the wire, bumping with ROMANTIC STORY near the eighth pole and gave way late. TRES FRANCAIS was forced over leaving the gate, raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and improved position in the lane. SONADORA GIRL hit the gate leaving it, raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path and was outkicked in the stretch. FASHIONABLE KITTY hit the gate and veered in at the break, raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far bend from the three path and finished evenly. VAI GATTINA missed the break, raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, came around the far bend in the four path and showed no kick. CHANNEL'S DAUGHTER saved ground early, trailed the field up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and made no bid. HIGHLAND HOLIDAY saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and was empty in the lane. FUTURE FORTUNE raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the three path and faded from there.
