Footnotes
SMART JOKER dueled between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four and five path and kicked clear in the stretch. ETRETAT dueled on the outside early, came around the bend in the four path and chased on in the lane. RUSSIAN HAMMER bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and made up some ground in the stretch. NO PROBLEM JOE raced off the pace on the outside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn and passed tiring horses from there. PISTOL OR SHOTGUN bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, raced off the pace on the inside early, came around the bend in the four path and improved position mildly in the stretch. BAD HENRY was pinched back leaving the gate, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path, swung wide into the lane and was never a factor. CIRCLE THE MOON dueled on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and tired in the stretch. MY NAME'S JEFF raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the three path and was empty from there.
