ROYAL LUCK (CHI) raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and kicked clear. DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR raced in the three path early, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the second turn and improved position to the wire. EVERDOIT saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and gave way in the lane. AL AMEEQ raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the far bend and never threatened. POLITICAL RIOT led the way from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path, dueled in upper stretch and faded in the final furlong. EIGHTYSIXCHEVY was pinched back leaving the gate, raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the four path and made no bid. CRABCAKES N BEER saved ground in the middle of the pack through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the second bend and tired in the lane. WINOOSKI raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn still in the three path and was empty in the stretch.
