EXPLOSIVE EXCHANGE took contact from an inner rival at the start, dueled for the lead with an inner foe while remaining in the four path into and around the tun, led narrowly as the battle continued into the final furlong and held firm. NAUGHTY FAVORS dueled for the lead with a wide rival around the turn, moved to the two path while sparring into the lane, persisted gamely and sustained the long battle into deep stretch but was kept at bay. SHIP IT was bumped between rivals and pinched back at the start, chased near the inside, then in the two path and between horses around the turn, progressed among foes while shifting out to the five path into the lane, ran on to edge show in deep stretch while gaining belatedly. FOXY LADY bumped an outer foe at the start, stalked two wide and between horses, pursued within striking range between the top pair around the turn, but yielded while getting floated to the three path into upper stretch, kept on and sustained pursuit between rivals in the final furlong but got outkicked for show. JOKES UP bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced close up along the inside while tugging in the bit, awaited racing room while under a firm hold behind the leaders around the turn, took rail aim in upper stretch, but lacked the needed kick and chased evenly. MT. D'ORO bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the three to four path and between rivals then failed to menace. LA GATA SALVAJE trailed in the five path, advanced turning for home, but flattened out in upper stretch and tired. PALEO'S PRINCESS tracked four to three wide into the turn, then faded between horses at the quarter pole.
