Footnotes
PANDO stalked five to three wide around the first turn, bid turning for home, assumed command nearing the quarter pole and drove clear. PAYNTER'S PRODIGY set the pace along the inside, but proved no match for an outer bidder approaching the quarter pole and was clearly second best. COX CANYON lacked speed along the inside, advanced three wide and between rivals turning for home, shifted out to the six path into upper stretch and moved up to edge show. GHOST STALKER prompted outside of the leader, but got outkicked by an outer bidder turning for home, gave way then shared fourth at the wire. LE GRIFFON steadied back when put to crowded quarters among foes into the first turn, raced off of the pace in the three path, chased in the four path and between rivals into the final furlong, vied for show but missed between rivals and dead-heated for fourth at the wire. HOLIDAY FANTASY saved ground off of the pace to no avail. THOUGHT tracked along the inside, chased around the far turn and gave way. REMERTON tracked in the four path, pursued within striking range four deep around the far turn, but chased in the five path into the lane and tired between horses. SILENT AND VIOLENT took back from between horses early on, raced at the rear in teh five path and got outrun. JARLIAN brushed an outer foe into the first turn, pursued from midpack two wide and between rivals then weakened rounding the far turn. THE RIDER OF LE GRIFFON CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST PANDO ALLEGING INTERFERENCE INTO THE FIRST TURN. ALSO, THE RIDER OF JARLIAN CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST COX CANYON ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AROUND THE FAR TURN. BOTH OBJECTIONS WERE DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
