Footnotes
LIZZIE BABY chased out of range from the three path on the first turn, moved into striking distance up the backstretch, bid three deep on the far turn, fought four wide into the lane, battled outside QUEEN ATLAS down the stretch and dug in to best the runner-up. QUEEN ATLAS was closest in pursuit along the rail then in the two path early, reeled in the leader approaching the far turn, took over inside the three-eighths pole, put HUMOR SENSE away at the five-sixteenths pole but was soon challenge by LIZZIE BABY to the outside, carried a short lead in the three path turning for home, fought gamely from inside through the length of the stretch but yielded grudgingly in the end. MISHKA broke out and bumped, traveled near the back three wide on the clubhouse turn, ridden along up the backstretch, chased two wide then next to the fence on the second bend and ran on to gain third. ROCIO raced between runners then outside a rival around the first turn, rounded the far turn in the three path, drifted out into the lane, drifted out further in the stretch run and lacked a rally. HUMOR SENSE broke in and bumped, sprinted clear and crossed over, opened up a comfortable lead early, held a diminished lead into the far turn, lost command past the three-eighths pole, yielded to the new leader midway around the bend and weakened. SPECIAL AFFAIR got sandwiched leaving the gate, trailed four wide into the first turn then steered to the inside, continued along the fence into the far turn, moved to the two path and passed a rival turning for home but could not make an impact after. CHILLING FACTOR settled along the inside, saved ground to the stretch and failed to menace.
