Footnotes
OLGA bumped leaving the gate, chased three deep leaving the backstretch, eased over to the four path around the bend, got floated out slightly into the lane, drifted in and brushed BAND SWEETHEART in upper stretch while making a bid, took over with a sixteenth remaining and drove clear. KIKILOVE broke in and bumped, tracked two wide around the bend and rallied inside rivals for second. BAND SWEETHEART fought for the lead from inside, had to pause briefly at the seven-sixteenths pole, chased through the turn, tipped out into the lane, launched a bid while getting brushed by OLGA in upper stretch, got crowded and lost a clear path midstretch, then kept on to earn the show honors. LADY IN HEELS dueled from outside, cleared at the seven-sixteenths pole, showed the way into the final furlong, challenged by rivals midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. VIOLENT VIXEN got bumped around leaving the gate, rushed up to the front between rivals, chased two wide then along the rail on the turn and weakened. GOOD BRIGHT FLAMES hopped at the start, chased four wide into the turn, moved into the three path, came back out a bit approaching the stretch and weakened. SYLLABUS trailed on the inside and was never a factor. THE RIDER ABOARD BAND SWEETHEART LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST OLGA FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
