PRECIOUS CAT chased between rivals from the two path into the turn, angled out and took aim at the leaders four wide turning for home, rallied to the front at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. RUNTOWN chased from off the pace then moved up four deep, challenged the top pair from outside around the bend, lugged in and bumped CRITICAL MAGIC at the top of the lane, cleared shortly after, confronted by PRECIOUS CAT midstretch and yielded in the last sixteenth. HOLY SPICY chased between rivals then had to pause when on the heels of a rival early, angled to the inside, steered out around the bend and came five wide into the stretch, offered a mild rally and passed CRITICAL MAGIC for third. CRITICAL MAGIC dueled from outside up the backstretch, inched ahead on the turn, got bumped and forced in by RUNTOWN at the top of the lane, churned on down the stretch and got edged for third. BUNDALAY dueled from inside to the quarter pole, lost touch with the leaders into the lane and weakened. BABY GUN was fractious in the gate, broke slow, trailed off the rail then outside a rival into the turn, spun four wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. BLACK FLY chased three deep between rivals into the turn, got crowded at the three-eighths pole, moved to the two path then came three wide into the lane and weakened. SHESA MISCHIEFLADY was fractious in the gate, chased from inside under coaxing, lost ground on the turn, remained inside to the stretch and faded. KISS ME FOR LUCK was off a bit slow leaving the gate, got bothered from outside and steadied early, saved ground through the turn and lacked a rally. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY INVOLVING RUNTOWN AND CRITICAL MAGIC AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
