MELODY WIN chased along the inside, tipped out to bid in the three path and between horses in upper stretch, led into the final furlong and held well from an outer pursuer. DONTBESOOGROUCHY raced off of the pace three to five wide and between horses, rallied to take aim on the clear leader entering the final sixteenth but was kept at bay. DON'T ANSWER broke a step slow and tossed his head keenly at the start, lacked speed in the five to seven path and rallied to reel in show. DAVID'S SONGS brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, tracked in the four path while progressing into and around the turn, bid while brushing with an inner rival entering the lane, got outkicked by an inner co-bidder shortly after, yielded and lost show in the shadow of the wire. ARTWELL vied along the inside before shifting to the three path to stalk outside of his counterpart into the turn, got outkicked between horses and forced to brush an outer foe entering the lane, steadied in tight quarters among foes in upper stretch then kept on mildly. DEVILISH DESIRE brushed between horses at the start, raced off of the pace four to six wide and lacked a bid. PERFORMANCE PLUS lagged behind, shifted to the six path in upper stretch and stayed on between horses. SWEN showed the way in the two path, got headed by outer bidders leaving upper stretch and weakened. CANDY STREET brushed with an inner rival at the start, chased forwardly in the three path, then between horses around the turn and faded. DIAMOND MESSA broke awkwardly, chased two wide and between horses, then along the inside nearing the lane and tired. THE RIDER OF ARTWELL CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST MELODY WIN AND DAVID'S SONGS ALLEGING INTERFERENCE ENTERING THE LANE. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTIONS, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
