REAL SAVVY stalked the leading pair, moved three wide to challenge leaving the far turn, struck the lead in mid-stretch, cleared and drifted out, held. PERSISTEN stalked from inside just off the early pace, moved out off the rail. RETEKO stalked then pressed the pace from outside, took over the lead nearing the three-eighths, fought on inside the winner's bid in upper stretch, could not kick on and lost place late. RAGMAN settled at the back, came out seven wide for the drive, kicked on mildly. MUSIC JEWEL was just a bit fractious in the gate, tucked in saving ground on or just off the rail throughout, needed more. MY PAL MAX raced two to three wide through both turns, went evenly. INTOLERABLE was carried five to six wide into the first turn, settled off the pace racing three to four deep into the far turn, shifted in on that bend, failed to rally. TWELVE TREASURES floated out four to five wide entering the first turn, chased from off the pace racing outside a rival five to six wide on the far turn, failed to rally. JUST COMPLY went straight to the lead, set the pace inside, was headed by the three-eighths, gave way in the stretch. LEIGH'S LAST HERO chased three to five wide mid-pack, dropped back and faded. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF PERSISTEN AGAINST REAL SAVVY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN AND RESULTS TO STAND AS IS.
