STONE COLD FLEX raced in the two path around the first turn, dueled between horses up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path, drifted out in the lane and kicked clear from there. KING FREUD saved ground early, dueled on the inside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, raced into traffic and switched paths in the stretch and chased on to the wire late. CANDY STREET raced in the three path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the four path around the second turn and gave way in the final furlong. BOURBON STATE bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, recovered to chase the leader from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and was outkicked in the stretch. VINO COURAGIO raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the four path around the far turn and faded in the lane. PAPA KATZ bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, saved ground early, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the far turn and made no bid. DUNEDIN CAUSEWAY trailed the field while saving ground throughout and never threatened. THE RIDER OF HORSE FOUR, KING FREUD, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FIVE, STONE COLD FLEX, CITING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE SAME INCIDENT. UPON REVIEW, HORSE FIVE, STONE COLD FLEX, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE.
