PENITENT broke a step slow, lacked speed in the four path, swung out to the eight path entering the lane, rallied while shifting inwardly in the final furlong, bid in the final sixteenth, dueled with an inner rival late and narrowly prevailed. BOURBON RAGE chased along the inside, rallied two wide into the final furlong, tipped outside of the leader to bid in the four path leaving the sixteenth pole, battled with an outer co-bidder through the late stages and just missed. STREET STYLE raced off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the six path into the lane, ran on to bid for minor placings in the final furlong, but got outkicked and put to tight quarters among foes at the sixteenth pole, then kept on to edge show. BREA FROM THREE pressed two wide, chased the leader around teh turn, rebid entering teh lane, drove clear in upper stretch, but got caught in the final sixteenth, weakened and lost show. FREE CHOICE raced off of the pace in the four to fie path into upper stretch, stayed on to bid for place among foes at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked between rivals. SIR LOMAX transferred contact from an outer rival to an inner foe at the start, lacked speed in the three path, pursued in the six to seven path in upper stretch and lacked a bid. DAUNTED leaned inwardly and bumped a rival at the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, shifted to the three path entering the lane and failed to menace hanging on his left lead. GO COLLECTOR chased four wide, inched closer to take aim on the leaders entering the lane, claimed place in upper stretch but weakened between horses leaving the sixteenth pole. POINT BARROW pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses then tired. MANTUGA broke a step slow, lagged behind along the inside and got outrun. COURT set the pace along the inside, cleared in around around the turn, but got caught by an outer rival entering the lane and readily stopped. CIMARRON STRIP stalked three wide then caved between horses. THE RIDER OF STREET STYLE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST PENITENT ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE FINAL FURLONG, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
