Footnotes
TOMMY THE TRAIN set a pressured pace along the inside, remained in hand as an outer rival applied pressure around the far turn, shook clear in upper stretch, held on his left lead until the sixteenth pole and held sway. SHANE FALCO raced close up in the two path, moved to prompt the leader and eventual winner into the far turn, proved no match for that one entering upper stretch yet sustained pursuit on his left lead to prove second best. MONEY MEMOLO bumped an inner rival at the start, saved ground in midpack, shifted to the four path into the lane and stayed on to edge show late. THUBOOT tracked hile tucking to the inside around the first turn, chased and forged show turning for home, proved no match for the top pair then yielded show late. COASTING BY was bumped by an outer rival leaving the gate, raced off of the pace in the two path, shifted out to the five path around the far turn then moved up. HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) pressed from the three path into the backstretch, but failed to sustain pressure shortly after, chased around the far turn and gave way. AGENT CABERNEIGH bumped with an inner rival at the start, lacked speed in the four to six path and failed to factor while hanging on his left lead. DISCOMBOBULAATOR broke slowly, raced off of the pace in the three path and between horses, moved to the inside while chasing around the far turn and tired. POETIC WORDS bumped the inner rail and steadied back from tight quarters approaching the first turn, trailed along the inside, then in the three path turning for home and made little impact. MOTOR CITY DAN broke outwardly, pursued from the five to four path, chased in the three path and between horses around the far turn and weakened. KING HAZELTON leaned out at the start, tracked in the five path, but faltered with a half mile to go and was eased through the lane. LONG ACTING bumped with an outer rival at the start, tracked from the four to three path and between horses, then weakened among foes rounding the far turn.
