TAP ME A SONG vied along the inside before backing off to stalk approaching the turn, pursued from the pocket turning for home, slipped through to bid inside of the leader entering the lane, inched clear in the final furlong then held from an outer challenger late. CINISTER CIX laid off of the pace in the two path, swung five wide into the lane, rallied to offer a late bid but was denied. CITY OF LIFE prompted four to three wide, chased among foes in upper stretch, kept on to vie for show with an outer rival and re-edged that position late. ROSE RULER tracked three to four wide, progressed to take aim in upper stretch, but got outkicked by an outer foe at the sixteenth pole, vied for show with an inner rival thereafter but missed. STORMTOWN forged between horses to set the pace, led in the two path around the turn, got headed by an inner bidder in upper stretch and gave way between horses. DISMISS stalked two wide and between horses, chased moving to the inside in upper stretch and gave way. TUXEDO PARK pursued four wide and tired. WAR LEGEND trailed in the three path and made little impact.
