JUJUBEE hustled to the lead, then was taken under a firm hold, early, was turned loose after passing the half-mile pole, maintained a clear margin through the far turn, and responded when set down in upper stretch and drew off. FINAL SCENE got caught four-wide into the first turn, settled out in the four-path in the run down the backstretch, went three wide while advancing through the far turn, then finished up well to move up into clear second position while no match for the winner. BILLY WHITE SHOES (IRE) steadied slightly just before the first bend, was last turning onto the backstretch and content with that position to the far turn, swept around the field to loom a big threat five-wide into the stretch and finished well to gain third. BRAVITAS was allowed to settle from the break and raced in the back half of the field early on, was having to be hard ridden to keep pace on the far turn, then was kept to task under strong handling and regular urging to maintain position through the stretch, but was unable to improve. MY FATHER'S PLACE settled in a stalking position behind JUJUBEE, came under a stiff drive midway through the far turn but could not make up any ground on that rival then was oufinished in the stretch. JINXZI tracked two-wide in the middle of the pack, went four-wide into the stretch and lacked a finish. OR MAGIQUE settled mid-pack along the rail for the first half-mile, then dropped to last on the far turn and was outrun in the late stages.
