KANAZAWA bumped a rival at the start, was quick to take the lead setting the pace near the inside, was shaken up at the three-sixteenths, drew off, was eased up late. MARDENE chased from outside going three to four wide on the turn, was no match for the winner but second best. CHICA LINDA was bumped by the inside foe and lightly brushed with the outside rival at the start, chased the winner racing up close in pursuit from outside, could not kick on but was best of the rest. NEUTRAL CAUSE was forced in a bit at the start, shifted in up the backstretch and was ridden along while lacking speed, came out off the fence leaving the turn, altered inside a foe near the furlong marker, improved inside. TIMBAVATI bumped the outside foe then was bumped twice by that one, chased two to three wide, weakened. OROZIMBA brushed lightly with a foe at the start, was outside three to four wide on the turn off the pace, failed to rally. KEEN ANNIE was bumped then bumped the inside foe twice at and just after the start, raced off the pace two to three wide, was never near enough to threaten. STARCOURT chased inside saving ground on the turn, came out near the eighth pole, faded. ELLIOTT MOON was outpaced and not a factor.
