HONOR MARIE trailed along the inside, paused behind foes at the three furlong pole, swung out to the six path entering the lane, rallied with a good kick to inhale the leader at the sixteenth pole and kicked clear. BABY MAX broke a beat slow, settled three to five wide into the backstretch, progressed in the four path around the far turn, swept past the leading pair entering the lane but was swiftly overhauled by an outer challenger at the sixteenth pole and proved second best. SWISS SLANG saved ground off of the pace, split foes two wide in midstretch and ran on to edge show late. PRINCE OF POWER prompted two wide, dueled around the far turn, got outkicked by an outer bidder entering the lane, yielded and lost show late. SMOKEY MANDATE tracked from the four to two path, within striking range of the top pair from the three path turning for home, but got outkicked at the quarter pole, chased in the four path into the lane then gave way. WELAKA lacked speed in the two path, trailed around the far turn, advanced inside of foes in upper stretch, shifted out while staying on and failed to reach contention. NATIVE SHAMAN was restless behind the gate, stalked along tte inside then faded between horses around the far turn. ENCINO set the pace inside of a prompting foe, dueled with that one around the far turn then weakened through the lane. CHIRON pursued two wide and between horses, then faded in the four path rounding the far turn. SUGOI raced off of the pace in the three path and between horses then gave way in the five path around the far turn.
