COLONEL COMPTON was bumped by an outer foe at the start, set the pace along the inside, remained in hand around the turn, widened his advantage when set down in upper stretch then held sway. HURRICANE EXPRESS (FR) pressed two wide and outside of the eventual winner, proved no match for that one in upper stretch then kept on to hold place. COASTING BY settled in the three to four path, advanced in the six path and between horses entering the lane and ran on to be best of the rest. DISCOMBOBULAATOR lacked speed in the four path then moved up in the six path and between horses in upper stretch. PROBABLY pursued from midpack in the five path, got outkicked by an outer rival entering the lane and failed to menace. GROUND SHAKER raced off of the pace hung in the five to six path, fanned seven wide into the lane and failed to threaten. ENGLISH BOBBY trailed in the three path and made little imapct. STORMIN WILLIE raced forwardly three wide and between horses, chased into the turn then gave way around the bend. KING HAZELTON bumped an inner foe at the start, raced close up along the inside then faltered around the turn. CAUSE IMA BOSS pressed four to three wide into the turn, weakened at the quarter pole then caved between horses.
