CLEOPATRA'S NILE bumped an outer rival at the start, came under a firm hold early on, settled off of the pace in the four path, progressed quickly while well in hand into the far turn, offered a bold challenge at the five sixteenths pole, assumed command and drew clear shortly after, widened under a mild drive into the final furlong then was geared down late. CURLS NITE OUT settled off of the pace along the inside, moved out turning for home, floated six to seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to bid for place along with an inner rival in the final furlong, sparred for that position through the late stages and prevailed. ZIGGZAPPA transferred contact from an inner foe to an outer rival leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the three path and between horses, moved to the inside around the far turn, swung out to the six path and between horses in upper stretch, rallied to duel for place with an outer foe through the final sixteenth but missed at the wire. ASK AMANDA tracked in the two path, chased in the three to four path and between horses into the lane, vied for place in midstretch but got outkicked by an outer pair in the final furlong. LADY EMILY KATHRYN bumped with an inner foe and took up at the start, settled well back in the three to four path, progressed in the three to five path turning for home, vied for place into the final furlong but got outkicked. CHAMPAGNE ON ICE trailed along the inside, then in the four to five path around the far turn before fanning to the eight path entering the lane, then moved up. SPOILS OF WAR was bumped by an inner foe into an outer rival at the start, stalked the top pair from the three path, bid between horses around the far turn, got quickly outkicked by his outer counterpart leaving the five sixteenths pole, lost place in the final furlong and faded. MY BUDDY BROOKS laid close up along the inside before backing off to stalk around the first turn, awaited racing room rounding the far turn, got shuffled behind tiring foes from the quarter pole to entering the lane, shifted out and lacked a bid. CHA CHA TAP lacked speed in the two to three path, entered in the lane in the seven to five path and failed to factor. WHITE LILACS set the pace in the two path, then along the inside down the backstretch, got headed inside of a trio of rivals leaving the five sixteenths pole, quickly proved no match for the eventual winner and weakened. JACK'S SUMMER prompted three to two wide, bid between horses rounding the far turn, proved no match for an outer counterpart and faltered.
