Footnotes
BEFRIENDED broke inwardly and jostled a foe at the start, set a clear pace around both turns then held sway under a drive. VIRGIN COLADA was jostled by an outer rival into an inner foe and steadied back at the start, tracked from the three path, chased in range of the clear leader around the far turn but proved no match for that one through the lane. PEAK POPULARITY brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, then transferred contact from that foe to an inner rival shortly after, stalked from the two path, lacked a bid and was best of the rest. STREETWHEREYOULIVE lacked speed along the inside, retreated to trail with five furlongs to go, then improved three wide around the far turn. SAKURA BLOSSOM was bumped by an outer foe into an inner rival and put to crowded quarters among foes at the start, raced off of the pace three to two wide then tired rounding the far turn. HIDDEN PRESENCE was bumped by an outer foe and took up soon after the start, raced off of the pace two wide, then along the inside down the backstretch and faded rounding the far turn. THE RIDER OF VIRGIN COLADA CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST BEFRIENDED ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AT THE START. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTION, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, BEFRIENDED WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND.
