Footnotes
AFTERNOON HEAT off rail trip to the turn, kept on gamely in stretch while all out to the wire, along in time. SHIP CADET quickly to the lead, led to deep stretch and gave in grudgingly late to the wire. CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT was slow into stride from inside, far back to the stretch and rallied along to close the gap too late. HALLOWEEN no speed to turn outside, rallied along in the stretch run. HOMETOWN HERO no speed to the turn, ran on in the stretch to improve late going. CLASSIC DANCER inside run to the turn never far back could not keep up stretch. FORGIVING SPIRIT pressed pace between horses to the turn, weakened in the stretch. MAJOR WAGER anxious in gate, floated wide into stretch with no gain. EASY OPERATOR inside run to turn while giving way past the quarter pole. HOLIDAY HOUSE pressed pace in three path to turn, used up gave way readily.
