Footnotes
WAR DEPT CALLING had no speed to far turn, angled out into the stretch while all out to get up in time on the wire. MEMPHIS SLIM inside speed to lead, led gamely through the stretch to wire while nailed in the late going. ETHICS chased top pair in three path, could not go on in the stretch, settled for third while gamely. BOURBON STATE slow start outside with no speed to far turn, roused into the stretch with no kick in the final furlong. HOW'YA GETTING ON close up inside to far turn but faltered in the stretch run. CAPTAIN CASE pressed leader to half from two path but backed up readily from there.
