Footnotes
DEDOS bumped with an outer foe at the start, led two wide before crossing to the inside into the turn, drew off entering upper stretch then held sway under mild urging. MOTHER VOLGA pursued from the two path, shifted out to the four path turning for home, chased between rivals into upper stretch, ran on to vie for place with an inner foe late and forged that position at the wire. UPSCUTTLED prompted along the inside, chased around the turn, reclaimed place in upper stretch but vied with an outer bidder for that position late and got nailed. PAT'S BUTTON bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, trailed in the four path, fanned to the six path into the lane and moved up willingly. BLUE OPAL pursued from the five path and lacked a bid. BEE'S BLITZ brushed with an inner rival at the start, pursued from the four path, got rank and checked at the five sixteenths pole then tired. JANE PAYNE pressed outside of the eventual winner, yielded entering the lane then weakened between horses.
