HAYES GOAL set the pace along the inside, vied with an outer presser passing the five furlong pole, shook clear with three furlongs to go, widened into upper stretch then held sway from a pursuing foe while under a drive. GARRYOWEN stalked in the three to two path around the first turn, pursued in the two to three path around the far turn, clamed place at the quarter pole then ran on to prove second best. EDZO SAID SO broke a beat slow, trailed along the inside, advanced in the four to five path turning for home then ran on willingly. PELICAN BAY pursued from midpack two wide, chased along the inside around the far turn, tipped to the three path to claim show entering upper stretch but got outkicked in the final furlong. ROUNDINGTHIRD leaned out and brushed a foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the three path then failed to menace. KING OF SALSA tracked along the inside, chased two wide into and around the far turn then gave way. SOUTHERN SOUL broke a step slow, lacked speed in the three to four path and failed to factor. SLY GUY pressed in the five to three path around the first turn, vied outside of the eventual winner down the backstretch, yielded to that one with three furlongs to go then weakened along the inside turning for home. OOH MY BOB was brushed by an inner foe leaving the gate raced off of the pace in the two path, retreated to trail at the three furlong pole and was outrun thereafter.
