UTOPIAN stalked near the inside, tipped out to the four path to take aim on the new leader in upper stretch, ranged up to bid at the furlong grounds, drove clear shortly after then held sway while shortening stride late. SWEET FREEDOM pressed three wide into the turn, bid before forging command at the quarter pole, but got collared by an outer challenger at the furlong grounds, got outkicked shortly after yet kept on to hold place. BAYTOWN BRUISER chased from midpack in the two path, shifted four wide and between horses entering the lane, stayed on to duel for show with an outer foe through the final furlong and held that position. LOU'S LEGACY broke a beat slow, pursued off of the pace four wide, fanned six wide into the lane, stayed on while hanging on his left lead, dueled for show late but was denied. MCILROY raced off of the pace in the two to three path and between horses, tucked to the inside entering the lane then improved on his left lead. GLACIAL POWER vied for the lead inside of a prompting rival early on, then with an outer pair around the turn, got headed at the quarter pole then faded. MR RANDY tracked from midpack in the three path, floated out to the five path and between horses entering the lane and faded. PAPIAMENTO broke a half step slow, trailed in the two path and got outrun. GUARDIAN vied two wide, then between horses into the turn, yielded with five sixteenths to go then weakened.
